Krista Johnson

Her energy and musical background makes her a perfect match for our chorus.

Krista has an undergraduate degree in music education (vocal and instrumental) from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, where she minored in vocal performance. She also has received a master’s degree in flute performance from Ithaca College in New York, and her terminal degree is a PhD in music theory and musicology from the University at Buffalo, where she wrote her dissertation on music and the brain.

She expects the chorus to have fun and together as a group work on intonation, dynamics, expression, emotion, and vocal technique.
